On behalf of Coop, Carbotech calculated the environmental and climate footprint of various Naturaline yarns (cotton, linen, wool and Ecovero Viscose). In addition, the materials polyamide and elastane, which are frequently used in Naturaline textiles, were evaluated. The environmental impact of all materials was shown and compared, and the eco-factors (environmental impact points UBP and CO2 equivalents) were listed. The phases of cultivation up to and including yarn production were taken into account in the analysis.
