Gerrit has been working at Carbotech since the beginning of 2022, focusing on sustainability strategy and environmental consulting. He brings several years of experience in management and technology consulting, as well as in the further development of ISO management systems (QHSE).

- Master’s degree in industrial engineering, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology

- Lecturer in Eco-Design at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (fhnw)
- Lecturer on the building ecology course at the sanu education centre
- Sustainability expert at One Planet Lab / book your expert
- Active involvement with EcoNGood Switzerland in Basel
- BFE accredited for net-zero consulting
