Andreas Schneider

As an external consultant, Andreas Schneider supports selected projects in the areas of air hygiene, environmental audits, especially fruit and vegetable inspections, VOC regulations and mediation.

Training and further education:

• Studied chemistry at the University of Basel.
• Dissertation in organic chemistry and
• Post-doc at the Cantonal Laboratory of Basel-Stadt on “Air hygiene investigations in the Basel area”.
• Postgraduate studies in mediation in business, environment and administration at the University of Applied Sciences Aargau. Diploma thesis on “Conflict management in the pharmaceutical industry”.

 

Memberships and expert activities:

• 1998-2001 Member of the Basel-Stadt Grand Council
• Since 1996 expert for air hygiene of the Basel-Stadt Building Appeals Commission
