In order to efficiently manage the operation, maintenance and servicing of the LCA software used within the MGB, a server environment was set up that allows remote access to the LCA software at any time. The infrastructure of the virtualized server environment was planned and implemented using open source software. The protected external access to the software environment was also implemented with the help of an open source VPN solution. Operation, maintenance, servicing and backups are guaranteed by Carbotech.
