The Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Centre (RECPC) of Ukraine aims at enhancing the resource productivity, competitiveness and environmental performance of industry in Ukraine. It supports the adaptation and adoption of Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production methods, practices, technologies and policies, providing national industries with the necessary tools to facilitate access to national and regional markets with environmentally sound products and improve the ability of national enterprises to successfully negotiate their position in the global market.
The RECP centre was created in 2013 in the frame of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) resource efficient and cleaner production project in Ukraine.The Centre has a sector-based approach focusing on national priority sectors: chemicals, agro-processing, metallurgical and metal processing industries.
Together with FHNW, SBA, CSD Engineers, Carbotech supports the RECPC experts work on the development, adoption and assessment of technical and technological solutions allowing a company to reduce inefficient consumption of materials and energy and increase its competitiveness.
Carbotech helps the RECPC with assessment activities in the respective regions and with building up local RECP know-how. Carbotech also supports the center in becoming financially independent. We accompany our employees in writing offers for international investors – through trainings and regular exchanges.
