Comparison of natural, synthetic and hybrid turf of the city of Zurich

The Life Cycle Assessment research group at the Institute for Environment and Natural Resources at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) has conducted a comparative life cycle assessment of different grass sports fields on behalf of Grün Stadt Zürich (GSZ). The review was carried out in accordance with the requirements of section 6.3 of ISO 14044 and the technical specification in DIN CEN ISO/TS 14071 as a review by a committee of interested parties, as the life cycle assessment study is intended as a basis for comparative statements to be published. The following three experts were members of the panel:
