The sustainable optimisation of Switzerland’s municipal waste and raw materials management requires a holistic approach that goes beyond simple quotas. Together with the ETH, Carbotech supported Swiss Recycling last year in the development of a comprehensive indicator system. The four main indicators that have been developed cover the three pillars of sustainability (ecology, social affairs, economy) and are collected using various secondary indicators. These in turn are networked with various actors and influencing variables.
