A company can contribute to environmental protection with laws, agreements or labels. In practice, however, it must be ensured that implementation also complies with the regulations. We have therefore been carrying out audits for many years. In doing so, we check compliance with legal regulations or recycling quotas, the avoidance of pollutant emissions, etc.
E-waste area
As members of the independent experts EAG-Recycling Switzerland, we are active in various roles in the development and evaluation of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) recycling. In the course of our work, we have acquired in-depth knowledge and practical experience in all areas of WEEE recycling in Switzerland and with downstream customers abroad. Our expertise covers all categories of appliances, including batteries, lamps, photovoltaics and heat transfer appliances. The independent EAG Recycling Switzerland experts are made up of representatives from the following four companies: Carbotech AG, IPSO ECO AG, Büro für Umweltchemie GmbH and Abeco GmbH.
Cleaning sector
Dry cleaners working for Coop Oecoplan are obliged to comply with strict requirements and conditions in the areas of energy and water consumption, environmental compatibility of the chemicals used and limit value emissions. In addition, only cleaning agents that fulfil certain environmental requirements may be used.
As an independent inspection body, Carbotech audits the dry-cleaning companies on behalf of Coop and checks and certifies cleaning agents.
